Szu Burgess is a documentary and film stills photographer whose work has been exhibited in Winnipeg, Toronto, Montreal, Chicago and New York in both group and solo shows. A critical writer on film and theatre, her essays,
reviews and photos have appeared in several Canadian magazines.

She was a curator at the "Counterparts Gay and Lesbian Film Festival" and co-produced "Vice Versa Lesbian Film and Video Festival", both out of Winnipeg and continues to be an independant curator for Vancouver's "DOXA:
Documentary Film & Video Festival".

A closeted filmmaker, Szu's "Go Home Bob" is a 3 minute video expose of evangelist Bob Larson's failed attempt to preach at the University of Winnipeg. Made in 1995 it debuted at DOXA in 2002.
She avidly collects homosexual propaganda.
